Those simple messages

Just a bit ago, I received a text from a dear friend who I haven't seen in far too long. She's been busy road tripping around the country and experiencing life, and I'm happy for her. This is what the message said:

"I just got my 3rd holes done on my ears and I didn't get as lightheaded/nauseous this time because the girl really reminded me of you so I trusted her"

It's things like this that remind us that we matter. Something so simple was able to send me into a giddy laughter and cheesy grin.
