And so, the exam wins again. I took my parasitology lecture exam today.... the moment I stepped out of the room, I felt defeated. I know I didn't work as hard as I should have, but I worked hard none the less. There's no changing it now. I leave my fate in the hands of the soap widdler.
Preston Pugmire:
Preston came on campus today to perform for us. I am absolutely fascinated with the technique known as looping. If you don't know what that is, Google it! Preston definitely showed off some skill with looping. Click on his link and check him out!! Free downloads of his songs are available on his website... and who doesn't love music... that's free??
Time is barreling down the tracks at a terrifying speed. I can't keep track of the days! Either I miss the days without noticing, or I fear for a split second (causing my heart to jump) that I missed an important day. It's hard to keep track.
I'm also losing sleep. In college, losing sleep is like the "normal everyday person" not sleeping for a week. I only get a few hours a night to begin with, averaging a SOLID 30 hours of sleep a week; I sneak in a few naps here and there. I was so tired the other night, that while my phone sat ringing on my bedpost I attempted to answer my alarm clock.
I have two weeks off at the very beginning of the summer, and I plan on sleeping. Plan being the key word. I'll probably average 31 hours of sleep a week mainly, because my dog will be excited to see me (and keep me from peaceful sleep) and I'll be too excited to see everyone else.
Also, I'm supposed to be studying now.... it never works.
