My comfy little niche finally has a spotlight

I've decided that I'm done planning my life the way I used to, simply because I'm tired of being disappointed.

I have been asked three times in the past two days what I was doing after I graduate in a year. I honestly have no idea. All I know is I'm taking 2 years off. Maybe I'll get my vet tech certification (finally!!) and maybe then I'll go to grad school.

I think I may have finally found my niche, my calling. Animal behavior has always been a passion of mine... something I truly enjoy doing. Only recently has it hit me in the face that this is everything I want.

Working in the animal behavior field is indescribable for me. Time passes so fast, yet so slow. I have a smile so big on my face for so long that my cheeks hurt by the end of the say. I never notice the pain until I stop smiling though. :)
